Barrier Rail
  • 3200mm effective length (3500mm long overall, with a 300mm overlap at each joint)
  • Post fixing holes at 1600mm centres (To comply with BS 6180:1999). 3 holes per rail
  • Requires two posts per rail, plus one post per end of each continuous run of rails e.g. A one rail run would requre 3 posts (2 + 1), a two rail run would require 5 posts (5 x 2 + 1) and a 7 rail run would require 15 posts (7 x 2 +1)
  • 310mm deep x 3mm thick (incorporating 2 No. 86mm corrugations)
  • Rail end cantilevers nominally 150mm from last post fixing position
  • A curve of 51m radius can be achieved using straight beams
  • Each beam to beam joint is connected with 8 no M16 x 35mm Lap Bolts (Order separately).
